“My wife and two other couples stayed at My Place for a weekend in January and we really enjoyed our stay. Frank, the owner, is extremely hospitable and a pleasure to rent from. Upon arrival he warmly greeted us, gave us a tour of the house, recommendations on things to do (which information is contained in a booklet that is a great reference), and presented us with fresh bread and eggs from his farm. The house is easy to access via paved roads and is high enough up the mountain to provide great views. Even if you come just to get away, the house is around 20 minutes from most hot spots, including downtown Asheville, making daily excursions easy. He also owns a small farm in the development that is open to guests and full of friendly goats, horses, chickens, and cats that entertained all of us. We will definitely book My Place the next time we visit the area!”
